Our speaker Tim Falkiner, who describes himself as an anti-gambling zealot, gave us a very comprehensive overview, including early history, in regard to gambling.
Tim's presentation covered some of the following areas:

- gambling products available in Victoria - there are lots
- the qualities of these products - good and bad
- pokies
- gambling addiction
Tim identified that while there may be some short time gambling wins, the "odds" are definitely stacked in favor of the gambling provider not the gambler.
