Thanks to Lili-Ann who hosted us for the evening - our speaker is a friend as they met each other as published authors.

Thanks also for this deep and thoughtful quote

Additionally, Marianne also said "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?

We had a large number of guests - some returning and Pres Elizabeth introduced them
Julie Fisher - our speaker for the night

  • The Pres reminded us that this Sunday is National Tree Day - a request that if you don't already have one - how about getting out there and buying one and planting it - and send photos to Tony if you have for inclusion in the next bulletin. On that note The Maribyrnong Community Group led by RC Flemington Kensington and RC Keilor East have a tree planting event planned so feel free to get along there and support their efforts

  • Christmas in July reminder for next week. Tony brought a big box of noodles, pasta sauce, tins of tuna and 2 thermal blankets (actually Wendy did the purchasing thereof). Rob followed up and asked for attendee numbers by cob Tuesday night - hopefully you filled in the form he distributed or have let him know you'll be there. In addition, bring some coins for a bit of fun on the night
