On to Pres Tony who advised the members of the upcoming meeting on Tuesday 16th April hosted by RC Balwyn - those details in the bulletin.
Matters in the interest of Rotary
- Tony L. advised that conference bookings were closing that night March 25th
- he added the details of the working bee which was conducted at Camp Getaway in Axedale on Sunday March 24th. There's a few photos and some more details below
- Jill reminded everyone that is was John McCaskills birthday that day and he got a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday
- Elizabeth commented on the RYPEN weekend - again more below
- Bob reminded us of the RIMERN visit and inner on Monday 15th April - he will need to know numbers by the April 8th meeting
- Doug spoke about the FORaMEAL shipment to the Horn of Africa region - the details and photos will be attached to the next bulletin as we are waiting for final reports
- David reminded of the lunches which are all well attended - details as always in the bulletin
- Lili-Ann has put together a document with QR codes with promotional material behind each one. We'll be sharing one of these a week in the bulletin
- last but not least Nora reminded us of the food packing at Caulfield Grammar - 1
Note that there is no meeting next week for the Easter break. The following week we will have a presentation by Val - She will be talking about renovating a chaumiere (cottage), maison, CHATEAU in France
