On to Matters in the Interest of Rotary
- Pres Tony advised that there would be an Establishment meeting on March 7th which would provide further information on the regionalisation pilot - particularly around the Community Groups and the upcoming nomination and appointment of the Community leaders. There is a little more information included in the bulletin
- Elizabeth confirmed that there would be 2 Rypen students travelling to DOXA camp in Malmesbury - thanks to Rob and Karin for volunteering to drive them there - Elizabeth herself will be driving them home
- Elizabeth also provided a light snack of shortbread biscuits (gluten free!) which she had made for her visit to the Canterbury Community Centre. We will have a speaker from the centre in the May
- Bob added to the background of Community Centres generally when he advised that these centres can have up to 600 members
- He also thanked Ted for providing bootles for the RIMERN recycle collection
- Rosemary asked for photos of past members who have, unfortunately, passed away in this Rotary year - District would like to acknowledge them at the conference in Bendigo
- Val advised that FORaMEAL has 2 new bookings - Carey Grammar and Camberwell Grammar - more details to follow. On this note she also advised that she will be going away soon to join Patrick in their French chateau - (nudge nudge wink wink) to continue their renovations. She reminded members that Nora and Doug will require support as always

She and Jonathan are pleased to announce that they have become grandparents for the first time. Welcome to the world Logan who arrived at 11pm on Monday night. Congratulations go to the grandparents and to the parents Lauren and Michael!
