From the Pres
- She advised the assembled members that George Dolezal had suffered a severe seizure during the week and was currently in hospital. Our thoughts and wishes go out to George and his family
- The Pres is looking to set up a Wellbeing committee to make sure we stay in contact with our members especially those who cannot attend the meetings as often as they would like
- Volunteers needed to man the raffle desk at the start of the meeting, please let her know
- a reminder about the Education Chances Golf Day - the cause is good and as the editor has participated in one before he can attest to the fact that its a fun event
Matters in the interest of Rotary
- Val provided an update on the recent packing event at Caulfield Grammar where 140 students packed 25000 meals - a great effort and worthy of a strong vote of thanks for the members who were able to assist on the day
The club were the recipients at district changeover of a recognition of our contribution, through being a founder member, of Rotarians for Bees - congratulations to the R4Bees team and the club on this recognition
