Our super volunteer, Thursday supervisor & Linen Lady Extraordinaire - Ros McMaster - is one of 3 finalists in the Westfield Local Heroes Awards for the Airport West Centre (closest to us in East Brunswick) and if you and all your friends vote for her RIMERN (Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network) will win $20,000 to keep our project humming along with more goods for people in need, more ability to repair white goods, better transport & more!
- Ros is one of 3 finalists so is already assured of a $5,000 prize for RIMERN, but if you vote NOW and share with all your socials, maybe we'll win the big one!! Thanks in advance guys, this sure beats cooking sausages outside Bunnings as a fundraiser! #westfieldlocalheroes

Steve again with a big smile on his face advised that the Kew Bears women’s footy team had another win on the weekend. could only be down to his marvellous management?
Val and Doug spoke about the FORaMEAL event on Sunday 7 August which was attended by 76 students who packed more that 20000 meals. The venue was kindly provided by Club member Kevin Xiao.
Doug also advised that he attended the Rizal West change-over night. The theme was Royal Ascot and Doug was all dressed up in his top hat for his online attendance at the event. The Rizal West Club (Lea's home club) in the Philippines assists with the distribution of FORaMEAL packs and will also be involved in our Club’s education program.
