A few notes from the Pres
- Reminder that the RICON Melbourne registration was open and there was an early bird fee - this was originally set for June 8th but, due to logisitcal issues with registration access, has been extended to June 12th. Get in now to take advantage of the savings available
- A reminder about the Camberwell Art show highlighted in last weeks bulletin - June 25th to July 3rd
- Graham Bishop, after many years of sterling service has advised that he wishes to hand over the reins for the Wear the Wattle project and also his liaison with Bass Care for the weekly meetings. Anyone interested in taking on that project which is an important one for the club?
- On this note Edda advised that she is planning a soft relaunch of Wear the Wattle and has asked that this be shared via whatever social media platforms you have available
- John has already emailed everyone re their membership renewal as we finalise numbers ahead of the new Presidential year.
- Doug provided an update on the Education programme for the Phillipines. This project has been cleared by RAWCS and is now full speed ahead. Another great and sizeable project for RC Canterbury
How about the FORaMEAL project then? The word is continuing to spread. After last weeks presentation to RC Footscray Doug did the same today when he attended a meeting of RC Malvern. Here's a photo
A reminder that changeover is coming up on June 27th, Edda mentioned that bookings are slow. Now we all know that Rotarians wait till the last minute before booking but how about getting yours done now... Let's have a good turnout for the new Rotary year - IMAGINE!!
