Kyoshi Paul Ceberano operates the Ceberano Martial Arts Academy which runs karate classes for adults and children in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Ceberano Martial Arts Academy has three dojos – Canterbury, Eltham and Hawthorn.

Classes  cater for children and adults.

Paul has over 40 years of teaching and training experience. Teaching Karate is his passion and life.

Paul is connected to a long lineage of marital arts. He is now 61 but looks very much younger.

He was born in Hawaii but is a Filipino. His family migrated to Australia and he was raised locally in Balwyn. His father started a karate school in Maling Place and the business has grown from that initial start. One of the business's locations is the Canturbury Neighbourhood Centre which he described as a great facility..

Paul  loves karate and believe it can help with some of the scary things  that confront children today. He acknowledged that great care needs to be taken in working with children but that his role can make a difference.

He does regret that at many schools there are no longer PE programs, but also considers that some children take on too many sports/activities at one time.

Paul spoke about his recent knee replacement surgery and his full-on approach to rehabilitation that already has him out on the golf course.

He is  looking to introduce a masters (seniors) karate program and recommends that everyone needs to keep active.

Paul was a delightful presenter and looked resplendent in his karate karategi .
