Prior to the brainstorming discussion at the last meeting President Steve updated members on the matters discussed and motions which were agreed at the last Club Board meeting.
He also asked members to hop online at www.trybooking.com/492214 and register for the Club's Change-over Night which is being held at BASScare on Monday 24 June. The theme is a Touch of Africa.
Janet Hay shared a video taken at the FORaMEAL event from the District Multi-District Conference. The video has been entered in a Rotary Zone 8 competition and in a great promotion for the FORaMEAL project, our District Governor Bronwyn Stephens has advised the video will be shown at the District's Change-over event in June.
Val Cunniffe then updated members on the upcoming FORaMEAL events. She also advised that the feedback from the event held at Swinburne University in May was very positive. There are events planned at Strathcona Girls Grammar and also Camberwell Grammar. Funding assistance for a FORaMEAL event for youth in Boroondara has also be obtained from Balwyn Rotary Club - this generosity is very much appreciated.
