So the other day I saw that we had been tagged in a post on Facebook - more specifically FORaMEAL was tagged. Whilst you may have differing views of the situation on the Ukraine you cannot deny that people there need help. Actually, it reminded me that PDG Dennis Shore made the comment that Rotary Clubs on both sides of that conflict are working to help their communities which is what we do!.

Anyway I thought I would show the post that mentioned us - see below

The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations' Ukraine Crisis Appeal is excited to share that Ukraine Crisis Appeal aid container #2 was locked and loaded and ready for sailing on 10 May.
💪🏻 Full of 100,000 dehydrated meal kits, once again donated by For a MEAL - each packet feeds 5 people - you do the maths!
🙏🏻 Let’s not forget the mobile ventilators, donated by Queensland Health and Cabrini Health Australia, dental chairs, x-ray equipment and full instrumentation to help establish maxillo-facial surgery, treating horrific facial wounds.
❤️ Then there are loads of wheelchairs and walkers, hundreds of beautiful knitted kids’ packs donated by Pat Mills, tonnes of assorted medical aid, resuscitation training dummies, patient hoists, cranio-facial instruments, a surgical microscope, new Bonds clothing, an autoclave and so much more.
Everything in this load was donated - we already have pallets coming for our next container - please consider helping us fund the transport to Ukraine. All donations to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal are tax deductible and all our items are delivered to L’viv Rotary Club Ukraine Unity for distribution. Teamwork makes the dream work!
