On December 2nd we will have a presentation by Margaret (Marg) Chipperfield about Family Violence
 
Biography

Margaret was born and raised in Melbourne before becoming a teacher and later a Social Worker. She retired after several years teaching infants, three years working in Child Protection and some 20 years managing a range of different programs such as Foster care,
Family Counselling, Family Violence, Drug and Alcohol Counselling, Family Support, Residential Care and Financial Counselling.

During this time she won the Robyn Clark award for Inspirational Leadership in the Field.

Following retirement Margaret became a marriage celebrant, a volunteer reading tutor one month a year for 9 years in a remote Northern Territory desert community and a co-facilitator of Men’s Behaviour Change Groups.
 
Her years with MBC Groups culminated in her initiating and co-facillitating one of Victoria’s first long term groups for men who had been violent or abusive to partners and/or children. In this group she worked for 3.5 years.
