Stories
Last Monday's Xmas Party

Very many thanks to our President Lili-Ann Kriegler and her husband Pierre who offered their home last Monday for the Club Christmas party.

The evening was a great night with fantastic food (many thanks to the caterers), the weather was just right and the Christmas cheer and vibe were perfect.

We were joined by members of the St Vincent de Paul Society, pictured above with President Lili-Ann, who graciously collected many gifts which had been donated by those attending the xmas party which are to be distributed by the Society to children they support.

Wishing all members, partners, families and friends of the Canterbury Rotary Club all the best for Christmas  and the new year.

Below are images of a few of the  memorable moments during the year:

Picnic in the Park 20 January 2020

Our first Club gathering for the year will be a picnic in the park on Monday 20 January at 6 pm.

It will be a bring  everything event - your food, drinks and probably a chair. There is a Council BBQ in the park.

The venue is Riversdale Park, which is in Riversdale Road just near the Riversdale Rail Station.

Come along and help us kick start the new year.

Unfortunately the weather forecast for next Monday at this stage looks a bit bleak.

If it seems on Monday morning  that we look likely to be rained out, an email will be sent to all members to advise that the picnic has been cancelled (lets hope that this does not eventuate).
